High density polyethylene pipes is an engineering plastic material. It has strength and is electically insualted. It is also resistent to soil acidity and alkalinity, rust or corrode, therefore, it is safe. The conduit pipe is flexible and can be used in open surface wiring, on ground, underground, and ceiling works. Additionally, it can withstand both low and high pressure, resistant to compression loads and soft which is able to walk pipes without pipe cutting such as electrical wiring, telephone lines and fiber optic cables.

ท่อพอลิเอทิลีนชนิดที่มีความหนาแน่นสูง เป็นวัสดุพลาสติกเชิงวิศวกรรม มีคุณสมบัติแข็งแรงทนทาน และเป็นฉนวนไฟฟ้า ทนต่อสภาพความเป็นกรดและด่างของดินได้เป็นอย่างดี ไม่เกิดสนิมหรือผุกร่อน จึงมีความปลอดภัยสูง อีกทั้งยังยืดหยุ่นได้ดี มักจะนำมาใช้ในการเดินสายบนผิวในที่โล่ง งานร้อยสายไฟบนดิน งานฝังในใต้ดิน และงานบนฝ้าในตัวอาคาร นอกจากนี้ ยังมีคุณสมบัติที่สามารถทนได้ทั้งแรงดันต่ำและสูง ทนต่อแรงกดอัด และมีความอ่อนตัว สามารถเดินท่อได้โดยไม่ต่องตัดท่อ เช่น งานร้อยสายไฟ สายโทรศัพท์ และสายไฟเบอร์ออฟติก
